From August 31 to September 4, 2025, the Feldhoff research group participated in ECerS 2025 in Dresden. As one of the most important international conferences in the field of ceramic materials, the European Ceramic Society Conference attracted around 1,500 participants from all over the world this year. It offered a diverse scientific program with lectures and posters on current developments in research and application. Our group also contributed with presentations on the topics of thermoelectrics, oxygen separation, and high-entropy oxides.

In addition to the scientific sessions, the conference offered numerous opportunities for exchange in an informal setting. A notable event was the evening meeting of the Young Ceramics at Ostrabeach, which featured a stand-up comedy performance that created a great atmosphere and encouraged dialogue among young researchers in a relaxed environment. We were able to establish new contacts and also took the opportunity to meet in person with long-standing cooperation partners.
