A competition highlights the excellent research of young academics
Katharina Kruppa was selected as an ACerS Journals Rising Star by the American Ceramic Society (ACerS). The Rising Stars initiative recognises outstanding research achievements by young researchers in the field of ceramics and glass. At the end of the selection process, Ms Kruppa presented her contribution at the international MS&T’24 conference in Pittsburgh. She worked as the corresponding first author on the article “Advanced thermoelectric performance of a textured ceramic composite: Encapsulation of NaxCoO2 into a triple-phase matrix”, which will appear as Editor's Choice in the December special edition of the Journal of the American Ceramic Society.
