Explore the research group
The working group led by Associate Professor Dr. Jens-Uwe Grabow develops and uses high-resolution FT microwave spectroscopy with innovative time-domain coherence techniques. This method allows for the precise analysis of molecular rotational transitions under nearly collisionless conditions, enabling in-depth, quantitative insights into the structure, dynamics, and intermolecular interactions of molecules and complexes, down to small biologically relevant aggregates. The research supports fundamental physical questions through highly precise spectroscopic measurements. In this way, the group not only contributes significantly to the elucidation of molecular properties in atmospheric, astro- and biochemistry, but also in fundamental physics.
